Getting found: two rounds of search fixes
A product nobody can find doesn't sell. Over a few days I did a first pass on search, then ran the site through a professional audit and worked through what it found.
What changed
- The home page says who it's for in its first line: a glowing price board for your cards, and a show-table display for vendors.
- Prices, the FAQ, and the waitlist count are in the page itself, not added later by scripts, so search engines and AI assistants read the same page you do.
- A sitemap, clear titles and descriptions, and social preview images, so links look right when shared.
- Private pages are kept out of search, like the app itself and checkout.
- Trust sections: a founder block, quotes from beta testers, and a dated changelog of what shipped.
- A support page for the Apple TV app, prices, and accounts, and a short summary file for AI assistants.
Some of this needs content only I can provide, like the founder story and tester quotes. Those sections stay hidden until they're filled in.
