Two small fixes: stubborn photos and password pop-ups
Two small problems, both the kind that make a site feel broken even when it isn't.
The photo that wouldn't go away
I uploaded a photo that didn't crop well into the round frame on the site, and replacing it did nothing: the old photo kept coming back. The server had replaced it. The problem was caching. The photo always had the same address, and browsers and the network in front of the site were allowed to keep a copy for an hour. Now the address changes with every new photo, so an old copy can never be shown again.
The search box that wanted a password
Clicking into the collection search box brought up my password manager. The page never said the box was a username. The browser guessed, because the page had several password fields and no forms to separate them, so it treated the whole page as one big login form. Each password field now sits in its own form, and the other boxes are marked as not being logins.
