Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and ("we", "us"), which runs TCG Marquee. By creating an account or buying a display, you agree to them.

What TCG Marquee is

TCG Marquee shows market prices for trading cards you add to your account, on an LED display we sell or on a screen you own. It is an information tool. It does not buy, sell, or grade cards, and it is not a marketplace.

Prices are estimates

Prices come from third-party market data, update about once a day, and may be late, incomplete, or wrong for a particular card, printing, condition, or grade. Nothing shown is an appraisal, an offer to buy, or financial advice. Check current sales before you buy or sell anything.

Your account

• You must be at least 13, and have a parent or guardian's permission if you are under 18.
• Keep your password and your display links private. Anyone with a display link can see what that display shows. You can remove a display from your account at any time.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. Payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe.
• You can cancel any time from your account. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then stops renewing.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies at your next renewal after that notice.
• Beta and complimentary accounts are free for as long as we choose to offer them. We will give notice before a free account needs a paid plan.
• Refunds follow our refund policy.

Displays

Hardware is sold as a one time purchase and covered by the warranty and return terms in the refund policy. A display needs an active plan to receive new prices; without one it keeps showing the last prices it received.

Acceptable use

Don't use TCG Marquee to break the law, to copy or resell our price data, to overload or probe our systems, to access other people's accounts, or to impersonate anyone. We may suspend accounts that do.

Content and trademarks

Card names, artwork, and game names belong to their owners. TCG Marquee is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Wizards of the Coast, Ravensburger, Disney, Bandai, or Riot Games. Card images are shown only to identify the cards in your collection. Logos and text you upload for your shop page must be yours or used with permission.

Changes and availability

We work to keep the service running but don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change features. If we make a change to these terms that matters, we'll email you before it takes effect.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses from buying or selling cards based on prices shown. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Account tab. We may close accounts that break these terms. Sections about prices, liability, and governing law continue to apply after an account closes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of , without regard to conflict of law rules. [Choose a venue for disputes, or an arbitration clause, with your lawyer.]

Privacy policy

This policy explains what collects when you use TCG Marquee, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, name if you give one, and a securely hashed password. We never see or store your password itself.
• Your collection: the cards you add, how you hold them, quantities, what you paid if you enter it, binders, asking prices, and alerts.
• Displays: the name you give each display, and when and from what network address it last checked in.
• Shop page: the name, link, and logo you choose to upload.
• Messages: emails you send us, and requests you submit for an invite.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive your plan and billing status, never your full card number.

How we use it

To run your account and displays, look up prices for your cards, send you account email such as invites, password resets, and receipts, answer your messages, and keep the service secure. We don't sell your information and we don't show ads.

Showcase displays

On our own demonstration displays, we may show cards that are tracked on TCG Marquee, one entry per card. These never include who owns a card, quantities, what anyone paid, binders, asking prices, or any account details.

Who else handles data

• Stripe processes payments.
• Postmark delivers our email and receives email sent to us.
• Our card data provider receives the card identifiers we look up. It does not receive your name, email, or account details.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in and one to keep a screen display connected. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your information while your account is open. Delete your account from the Account tab and your collection, history, shop page, and displays are removed. Backups containing them are overwritten within [30] days. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your choices

You can see and change your information in your account at any time. To ask for a copy of your data or for help deleting it, email .

Children

TCG Marquee is not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email you before it takes effect.

Refunds and returns

Subscriptions

• Cancel any time from your account. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• If you're not happy after your first payment on a plan, email us within 14 days and we'll refund it in full.
• After that, we don't refund partial periods, but if something went wrong on our side, write to us and we'll make it right.
• Yearly plans cancelled within 14 days of a renewal can be refunded for that renewal.

LED displays

• Return an unused display in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price. [Decide who pays return shipping.]
• If a display arrives damaged or stops working within [12 months] of delivery under normal use, we'll repair or replace it. Email us with your order and a photo or short video of the problem.
• Damage from drops, water, modification, or using a different power supply isn't covered.

How to ask

Email with the address on your account. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
